Terms of Use
Welcome to Les Petits Articles ("the App"), a French grammar learning application developed and operated by Getúlio Júnior ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
2. Account Registration
You may create an account using an email address and password, or via Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions (Les Petits Articles Prime)
3.1 Subscription Plans
The App offers an optional premium subscription — Les Petits Articles Prime — which unlocks the following features:
- Unlimited access to all curriculum phases and exercise modes
- All 17+ word categories unlocked
- No waiting periods between learning sessions
- Ad-free experience
3.2 Pricing and Billing
Subscription plans and their prices are displayed in the App before purchase and in the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). Prices may vary by region and are shown in your local currency at the time of purchase. Current plans include Monthly and Annual subscription options; a Lifetime option may also be available.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
3.3 Free Trial
A free trial period may be offered for new subscribers. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased. After the free trial period, you will be charged the applicable subscription price.
3.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions) or your Google Play account settings (play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to Prime features until then. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.
3.5 Restore Purchases
If you have previously purchased a subscription and it is not active on your account, use the "Restaurer un achat" (Restore Purchase) option in the App's settings.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source code of the App.
- Use automated tools to access or scrape the App's content or services.
- Submit false or misleading information during account registration or in any communication with us.
- Attempt to circumvent or manipulate the App's progress-tracking, scoring, or subscription systems.
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, icons, audio, exercise content, curriculum materials, and source code — is the property of Getúlio Júnior or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the App without our prior written consent.
6. User Content
The App does not currently allow users to submit or publish content. Profile nicknames must not be offensive, defamatory, or impersonate another person. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for a subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 5, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brazil.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Apple Standard EULA
Where you obtain the App through the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms supplement, and do not replace, the Apple Standard EULA.
